Job Title: Business Strategy Analyst Location: CA - Westlake Village What you'll do: AmeriHome is a growing mortgage company with an exciting and dynamic environment. We are seeking a candidate that enjoys data analysis, workflow optimization, and problem solving to join our Retail Lending channel. This individual will work directly with our Business Insight and Data Analytics team as well as our Business System Optimization team. What we are looking for: Responsibilities Analyze data and reports to identify performance, trends, data anomalies, and areas of opportunity Perform ad hoc data analysis and data studies for Retail Lending leadership utilizing Excel and other tools Act as a liaison between business leadership and technology teams for business requirements and prioritization based on level of effort vs. impact Develop business requirements for recurring reports and monitoring/updating those reports Assist in intake, prioritization, and communication processes of reporting requests Develop and maintain process controls for retail lending to mitigate risk and improve efficiency Prepare effective presentations and communications to share reporting, observations, and recommendations with senior management Assist with data visualization for executive review decks Fulfill any other duty or function requested by EVP, Retail Lending or Managing Directors of AmeriHome Requirements Bachelor’s Degree required 3-5 Years Experience in reporting or analytics preferred, ideally in mortgage or other financial services Data aggregation and visualization experience Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VBA, formulas, lookups, etc. Proficiency with Microsoft products Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an attention to detail Ability to work independently and with internal customers to achieve project goals Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate business terms to technical terms and vice versa Demonstrated ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment Interest in problem solving and solution analysis Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $66,150.00 - $81,713.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
